2008 Track Rules

We follow ALL WKA Rules plus these track rules:

1. Never dump oil or chemicals on the ground. You are liable for this E.P.A. violation.

2. Slick racing tires ONLY. No siping or grooving. (Only exception are the Outlaw Karts)

3. Race format consists of 2 lap qualifying, 10 lap heat, 20 lap feature.

4. No open torches in pit area.

5. One green flag double file starts, then single file restart if caution comes out.

6. If you spin out all by yourself do to overdriving and wait on a caution, you WILL be black flagged.

7. If we line you up and you get out of line, you will be put in the rear of the field.

8. Open tire rule in ALL classes.

9. Engine rules- Animal engines must follow W.K.A. rules only except 2007 stock spec billet rod. Stock 5 h.p. briggs W.K.A. or I.K.F. legal

10. Heat race 10 laps or 5 minutes, Feature 20 laps or 10 minutes.

11. At the start of a race or at anytime in a race if your are racing in the high groove and cut down crowding, chopping and causing       accidents you will be penalized. It is up to officials to issue penalty's for each individual incident. Please take note drivers if you       start a race in the outside row we will be watching you carefully for crowding.

12. Qualifying- Drivers will draw at sign-in to assign an order to qualify in.

13. Any drivers, crew members, family members, anyone associated with your team using profanity, sign language,       yelling or acting in anyway unprofessional will be suspended, fined, arrested per incident. NO TOLERANCE !!!!!!

14. If you are a lapped kart and the caution flag is displayed, you will drop behind all karts on the lead lap before the race returns to       green flag conditions.

15. All karters ages 12 & under must present a birth certificate to enter their racing division.

16. Chest protectors meeting SFI specification 20.1 are mandatory for all drivers in all classes where the maximum age is 12 or lower.
