7th Annual Hillbilly Hustle news

Dear Karters and Crews,

After many hours of thought and sleepness nights, it is my disappointment to announce that the $10,000.00 to win purse will not be paid. I hope you are not disappointed at me as I have funded out of pocket expenses of thousands and thousands of dollars to races that have fell short in the past. It must stop here. I personally am not bitter at the tons of calls from racers thanking us for switching it back to Raptor. We only have 42 paid entries. Instead I firmly feel that George Bush is the worst president in history. We have been at war for 7 years costing us 14 million dollars per hour, fuel hit $4.55 per gallon, factory sellouts, layoffs left and right, home foreclosures, stock market crashes, groceries at an all time high, no one has much if any left over money to go racing and if you do your scared to spend it and who would blame you. Oh yes we have a major issue in the sport of karting itself, TIRES, and which motor do we run Animal or Raptor? It's a mess anyway you look at it. Well heres the plan, We are racing Saturday with 2 divisions, Briggs Heavy (Animal) and Jr. Lite. Gates open at 10 practice at noon. $1000 to win in Jr. or 100% payback $60 entry fee. Briggs Heavy is $2500.00 to win or 100% payback $100 entry fee. Camping overnight is free. As for the Hustle, we will race! Sunday gates open at 10 practice at noon. We will draw for qualifying on race day and you can sign up that day. We will pay back 100% with the winners cut at 50% - 2nd 25% - 3rd 15% and 4th 10%. If you have already paid and choose not to race I will refund your check on Monday. Sorry for the inconvience. This still will be a great event and I hope to see you there!

Thanks, Bill and the L.V.M.S. crew
